In addition to leading S3 Technologies, Lane also owns Sutherland Sight & Sound, a highly successful technology integration and live events company in Florence, Alabama. Through both ventures, he has earned a reputation for delivering cutting-edge solutions and unforgettable event experiences.

Gary operates as S3’s Vice President of Technology, with over 36 years of industry experience, he has built a strong reputation in Mobile, Alabama, as a trusted consultant, designer, and installer of professional technology systems.
From basic assistance with individual components to advanced control programming and comprehensive presentation systems, Gary and team deliver tailored solutions to meet each client's specific needs. Whether designing a new system from the ground up or integrating with existing infrastructure, their approach emphasizes simplicity, reliability, and engineered performance. Their guiding principle is to keep systems straightforward in both design and daily operation.
Outside of work, Gary enjoys working on antique clocks, sailing, and cooking—hobbies that reflect his attention to detail, patience, and love of craftsmanship.

His deep industry knowledge, coupled with a proactive management style, allows him to navigate complex challenges and drive initiatives forward with precision and efficiency. When Neal is not knee deep in a project, he enjoys the outdoors & golfing.
